Over the past 75 years, Ott Brothers Furniture and Appliance store has undergone many changes and diversifications.

It began in 1932 with Ross and Frank Ott as a grocery store.  Richard and Paul Ott purchased the business from their father and uncle in 1951 and operated it until 1988.  By then, the business had blossomed into a successful farm equipment and appliance dealership.  Ott Brothers saw change coming and had the vision and courage to make those hard decisions needed to continue being successful.  They began to phase out the farm equipment product line and expanded the appliance line, hardware, and lawn & garden products.

In 1988, John Ott, son of Richard, purchased the business from his father and uncle Paul.  "Mitch Ott, brother of John, joined in 1990 as sales manager when furniture and bedding was added.
